A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away (or so it seems) I graduated in fine arts from art academy and also got my state examination/teaching qualification from university. I wasn't exactly in a hurry at that time - but, don't panic - I financed my studies completely on my own...well, I had 3 jobs ...whatever I came across to make money with, I even worked as a caretaker.

A pure artist's life was never my intent, but I hold my fine arts studies and my "Akademiebrief" in high regard, so everything is fine and as it should be. I love my job as a teacher and I have chosen it completely willingly (pinky promise!), despite the prophets of doom.

A few years ago I resurrected my love for graphic novels and comic art and started sketching on a regular basis again. In 2020 I finally developed the "Fellvolk" during  Corona-lockdown to "not go bananas" at home. I "shopped" the hamsters, counted 7, lost one in France during the summer holidays, kept the rest, fed them, and went on telling tales about their life with us "hoomans". Well, that works just fine for me, as long as I am in control of their chaos.

One more thing on my bucket list seems to be within reach now....to finally finish my epic graphic novel one day (very bloody!!) among other projects (not so bloody!). I'll let you know.
